TRINITY HOUSE COMMUNITY

The Trinity House Community is a Catholic non-profit ministry faithful to the teachings of the Church with many beloved Protestant and Eastern Orthodox family, friends, collaborators and supporters. Our mission is to inspire families to live together with God, making their homes a little taste of heaven to share with others for the renewal of faith and culture. We inspire families with a vision for a Christian home at our award-winning Trinity House Cafe in Leesburg, VA. We lead workshops, give talks, facilitate home and family consecrations, create tools to help families build their own Trinity Houses, and encourage families with monthly parish-based gatherings.

TRINITY HOUSE MISSIONARY PROGRAM

The Trinity House Missionary Program is designed to form the next generation of Christian families and leaders. Our goal for our missionaries is two-fold: 1) that they would be formed to build their own Trinity Houses, in which families confidently live out the faith day by day, and 2) that they would be formed to lead other families toward the renewal of the Church and culture on a broader scale. In order for our missionaries to be able to meet these goals, we are committed to their spiritual, personal, and professional development.

MISSIONARY PROGRAM DETAILS

The year-long Missionary Program — which includes room, some meals, and a monthly stipend — accepts new Missionaries in mid-May and in mid-August.

Trinity House Missionaries, ages 18 and up, are trained and mentored to share the Trinity House mission through 1) their work with the public as baristas at Trinity House Cafe, 2) leading educational and cultural events, and 3) their work with families in local churches. 

Plans are underway to launch a Trinity House Community Garden not far from the café where Trinity House Missionaries will also help grow produce for the cafe and to benefit local families.

Missionaries will also have time for personal prayer time and adoration, worship and participation at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church or another local church, spiritual formation and mentoring, and bible and small group studies.
