Soren and Ever Johnson, Founders and Directors

Soren Johnson is co-founder and co-director of Trinity House Community with his wife, Ever. He has over 20 years of leadership experience, including teaching and communications positions at the Catholic high school and college levels, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Diocese of Arlington. From 2008 to 2011 he served as Vice President for Prison Fellowship International, and from 2004 to 2008, and 2011 to 2019 as Director of Communications and Director of Evangelization for the Diocese of Arlington.
Soren holds a B.A. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and an M.A. in Theology from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. He has lived abroad in Russia, the Czech Republic and Israel, and his writing has been published in many outlets, including the Washington Post, Richmond Times Dispatch, Chicago Tribune, Columbia, and the Arlington Catholic Herald.
Soren and Ever served as delegates and speakers for the U.S. Bishops at the 10th World Meeting of Families in Rome, and were interviewed live on EWTN from St. Peter’s Square. They serve as monthly bloggers for the U.S. bishops website ForYourMarriage.org and have been interviewed by many news outlets, including Crux, Catholic News Agency, and EWTN. Soren was born and raised in West Chicago, Illinois, and now enjoys family life with Ever and their five children in Leesburg, Virginia.
Ever Johnson is co-founder and co-director of Trinity House Community. She previously worked for ten years as George Weigel’s Research Assistant at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, DC, where she also served as Catholic Studies Program Manager. Ever assisted with research and translations for Witness to Hope: The Life of Pope John Paul II, among other books, and organized the Tertio Millennio Seminar in Krakow, Poland, where she and Soren met.
Ever holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and an M.A. in Theology from the Dominican House of Studies. During her college years and beyond, she worked four sessions in the Texas State Legislature and interned at the U.S. Embassy in Reykjavik, Iceland. She has also lived in Denmark, France and Italy, where she interned at the Vatican.
Ever has written for many publications including Magnificat, National Catholic Register, Our Sunday Visitor, Arlington Catholic Herald, Humanum, and Aleteia, and has extensive experience as a speaker and communicator. Raised in a large Catholic family of restaurateurs in Fort Worth, Texas, Ever enjoys bringing her family’s spirit of hospitality to the ministry’s Trinity House Cafe + Market and to her family’s home in the countryside south of Leesburg.

Alison Fram, Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Alison oversees administration, events, and day-to-day operations for both Trinity House Community and Trinity House Café, supporting the mission and ministry of each.
A Northern Virginia native, Alison earned her B.A. in Theology and Youth Ministry from Mount St. Mary’s University. She spent thirteen years in parish ministry, accompanying families and young adults and supporting mission work in Haiti, Jamaica, and Honduras. She’s excited to be a part of Team Trinity and support families and their children in a new way. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking adventures with her dog Daisy, being an aunt, and quality time with friends. She also loves coffee and thinks working in the offices above Trinity House Café is about as good as it gets.

She is an experienced professional in the restaurant industry. Natalie is passionate about combining customer service and ministry.
