Just one month ago, we reached out to you with the news that we were invited to present a talk at next week’s World Meeting of Families in Rome. Here’s the link to the program for June 25th, the day we’ll speak on “Discernment in Daily Family Life.”
In light of the unprecedented visibility our ministry to families is expected to receive, we also invited you to support a special campaign to expand the ministry’s reach. To do that, we set an ambitious $30,000 goal—which included a $15,000 dollar-for-dollar match from several generous supporters—that we hoped to reach by June 30th.
Wow! You did it. Late last week, Trinity House supporters exceeded expectations and allowed us to hit the goal. Dozens of contributions—ranging from $5 to $20, $50, $100, and more—have brought us to this point.
But that’s not all.
Several supporters have now stepped forward with a new $5,000 challenge, ensuring that your gift, made between now and June 30th, will be doubled up to $5,000. This new stretch goal of $40,000 will allow Trinity House Community to engage, equip, and encourage even more families in the months ahead.
To recap, here are our 3 requests:

To recap, here are our 3 requests:
- Will you please pray for us as we make this trip? Here is a printable PDF of the official World Meeting of Families Prayer that we invite you to pray, not only for us and the Trinity House ministry, but also for your own family and for families all over the world.
- May we pray for you and your family? We already have an expanding folder of intentions, and we are eager to use this week in Rome to bring more needs of our Trinity House Community friends, volunteers, staff, and supporters to the Lord in prayer. Please text or email your prayer requests so that we can pray for your needs at the sacred places we visit in Rome (ejohnson@trinityhousecommunity.org; 703-669-2807).
- Will you consider making a charitable gift—of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or more—to help us leverage this opportunity to reach new families in our community and around the world? We want to build on the trust you have placed in us. And thanks to generous supporters, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 if we receive it before June 30th. Make your gift here today – or send your check to Trinity House Community to P.O. Box 713, Leesburg, VA 20178.
Thank you for your partnership and prayerful consideration of support at this critical moment for families everywhere!
Gratefully in Christ,
Soren and Ever

P.S. If you’re within driving distance of Leesburg, join other families (kids invited!) for our next Heaven in Your Home Gathering this Sat., June 18th, at St. John the Apostle’s Parish Center, Leesburg, beginning with a casual pizza & salad dinner at 6:30. Chris and Jodi St. George, parents of the newly-ordained Fr. Peter St. George, will share an inspiring reflection on how to strengthen your family culture. Don’t miss it.
“Trinity House Community is a great blessing to our Church and to the world.”
– Msgr. John Cregan, Diocese of Arlington
