Christmas will be here in little more than a week – which means there is still time!
There is still time to join in the first Advent and journey with the Holy Family from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Like Mary and Joseph, we may be experiencing fatigue in these days as we prepare to host family and friends, and as we work through our long lists of
activities in preparation for Christmas.
In just the past week, our family has experienced multiple snow days and back-to-back evening events. We can feel the anticipation of our children building by the second. And yet, now is precisely the time to double down together as a family on the true meaning of this sacred season, as we:
- Invite the Lord to dwell together with us.
- Surrender the idea that everything depends on us.
- Prepare for the birth of Jesus by daily meditation on the Advent scriptures – joining the Holy Family on the road to Bethlehem.
Even though we know we’ll struggle to maintain the right mindset in the coming days, there is still time for each of us to experience the profound joy of this season. May we journey well, as we strive to give our loved ones a heart and home that is ready to receive
the Lord. When God comes to live together with our families at Christmas, making our homes a little taste of heaven, we know we’ll be ready for anything that 2020 may bring!

Please Join us in Prayer
We invite you to keep the following needs in prayer:
- For the 200 people who participated in either our recent Heaven in Your Home Workshop, Consecration to the Holy
Trinity, or first Chapter Gatherings, that they will draw closer and closer to the Lord, inviting Him to dwell together with their families.
- For the Trinity House Café staff and volunteers, and for the launch of our Trinity House Missionary Program.
- For a generous response to our annual ministry appeal, that it will enable Trinity House Community to enter 2020 on strong footing.
